Dr Thomas Bohné and PhD student Jessica Horn from the Cyber-Human Lab have collaborated with the World Economic Forum (WEF) to explore the implications of this challenge and develop recommendations for manufacturers to better involve workers in technology adoption.
“The perspectives of front-line workers, who are often end users of technologies on the shop floor, are frequently overlooked both in research and when projects are implemented in industry. Our report provides insights from workers on how new technologies may be more successfully introduced.”, says Dr. Bohné.
