Dr. Xinyi Tu, a former visitor to our lab, has recently presented work she conducted during her visit to Cambridge at the prestigious 33rd IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR). Xinyi, together with another visiting student, Bene Hartmann, worked on assessing the readiness of current state-of-the-art augmented reality (AR) technology for deployment in industry. Congratulations to Xinyi and Bene, and to all the co-authors, including Prof. Per Ola Kristensson from Cambridge and Dr. John Liu from MIT, as well as our own Prof Thoms Bohné and Dr. Slawomir Tadeja from CHL. The paper has also been selected for publication in a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (IEEE TVCG) by the IEEE Computer Society!
