Cyber-Human Lab (CHL) will collaborate with Prof Przemysław Spurek (Dr hab.) from the Group of Machine Learning Research (GMUM) at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland on a project entitled: Generative 3D Models Based on NeRF Representation (PL: Modele generatywne 3D oparte na reprezentacji NeRF). In the capacity of external partners, Dr Thomas Bohné and Dr Sławomir Tadeja will advise and oversee the team’s efforts on adopting and transferring the research output into an immersive environment such as VR.
A brief description of the project (in Polish only) can be found here:

The collaboration is supported by the SONATA BIS 13 award of 1578444 PLN (roughly £ 313’000) bestowed by the Polish National Science Centre (NCN) to Prof. Spurek and his team. More details can be found here: https://www.ncn.gov.pl
Prof Spurek has a long-standing collaboration with CHL’s Dr Sławomir Tadeja concerning the generation of 3D models. Such techniques could be used to provide high-quality, on-demand content for immersive environments (VR/AR/MR). Thus far, this ongoing work has led to a number of publications, including:
