The German Paralympic Team of the Year award is essentially the highest honour which the paralympic association can bestow upon athletes on a national level. The achievements throughout the year included a win at the World Rowing Cup II in Poznan, Poland; Bronze at the European Championships in Munich and Silver at the World Championships in Racice.
