Victor Shan is a PhD student specializing in Metaverse technologies, focusing on AI-assisted interaction systems and network architectures for XR (Extended Reality) environments. His research bridges the technical foundations of immersive technologies with practical applications in e-commerce and gaming industries, exploring how AI can enhance user experiences and system performance in virtual environments.
Prior to his doctoral studies, he established himself as an accomplished XR developer and educator. As a Young Seminar Leader at the Harvard University HSYCL program, he contributed to cross-cultural academic dialogue and knowledge sharing. During his time at Tsinghua University, he led numerous XR projects that demonstrated innovative applications of immersive technologies. With 6 years of Unity development experience and over 50 completed projects, he has built a comprehensive portfolio spanning various sectors and use cases in the XR ecosystem.
