Tim is a doctoral student from Eindhoven University of Technology, visiting the CHL for six months under the supervision of Dr. Sławomir Tadeja. His research focuses on improving collaboration between human operators and computer vision algorithms in industrial procedures. In the first years of his PhD project, partially funded by ASML Research, Tim has focused primarily on algorithm development, publishing articles in computer vision and robotics venues. In the last year, visiting the CHL, the human and augmented reality aspects were emphasized.
Tim holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Electrical Engineering, both specialising in automotive technology. He joined the Honda Research Institute Europe in Frankfurt for six months to work on vehicular trajectory prediction. Further information may be found on his personal website.
Outside work, he enjoys motorsports, swimming, studying Portuguese, and tinkering with motorcycles.
