Max Middendorf

Postgraduate Student

Max is a visiting student at the Cyber-Human Lab. Under the supervision of Dr Thomas Bohné and Dr Sławomir Tadeja, he is conducting research on augmented reality feedback systems for an exoskeleton fitting process.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in production engineering at the same university. His academic path includes two semesters abroad at Lund University in Sweden and RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Max has also gained valuable experience through internships at Mercedes-Benz, Porsche Consulting and Roland Berger.

Beyond academics, he is actively involved in the social start-up “Legmon”, which aims to provide disadvantaged students with equal opportunities and social mobility.

In his free time, Max enjoys a wide range of sports including tennis, running, rugby and his latest passion, rowing. He also enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new things and travelling to new places.
