Maria is a visiting postgraduate researcher at the Cyber-Human Lab, where she works under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Bohné. Her current research focuses on the performance analysis of university investment vehicles.
Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and is currently completing her master’s degree in Management and Technology at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in entrepreneurship and computer engineering.
Before joining the lab, Maria gained extensive experience through internships and work in venture capital, where she managed investments across Central and Southeast Asia. Most recently, she conducted research at Stanford University on gender inequality in entrepreneurial ecosystems, aiming to design more inclusive models to support women entrepreneurs globally.
Outside of her academic and professional interests, Maria enjoys skiing and running. She has studied in Germany, South Korea, the United States, and Singapore.
