Lauren Hattaway

Postgraduate Student

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Lauren has completed internships in operational excellence at Boeing Distribution and process engineering at Honeywell. She also conducted nanomaterials research abroad in Japan at Kochi University of Technology. Along with her studies, Lauren competed as an NCAA D1 Beach Volleyball player for 4 years.

Currently Lauren is a student at Cambridge’s Institute for Manufacturing studying for her MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management. For her master’s dissertation, Lauren will be working with James Tombling under the supervision of Thomas Bohné on physiotherapy applications relating to augmented reality.
