Carmen Mayer

Postgraduate Student

Carmen is a visiting student at the Cyber-Human Lab. As part of her master’s thesis, she focuses on Enterprise XR and the Industrial Metaverse.

Carmen holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU). Currently, she is finishing her MSc “Management and Digital Technologies“ at the LMU with a focus on human-computer interaction and digital innovation. Besides her studies, she is about to finish the honours degree “Technology Management” from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), a joint research and educational institution by the LMU and Technical University Munich. In addition, she participates in the add-on study program “Environmental Studies Certificate Program” at the Rachel Carson Center.

Aside from her studies, she gained experience in IT consulting and scientific research on Entrepreneurship as well as Empowerment and Privacy at the CDTM and LMU. Her interests lie in human factors engineering and learning in XR, sustainability, and social entrepreneurship.
