Carla is a visiting student at the Cyber-Human Lab, where she investigates the implementation of responsible AI principles. Collaborating with Emma Kallina, she primarily focuses on how open-source large language models (LLMs) contribute to more ethical development in practice.
Before joining the Cyber-Human Lab, Carla gained experience in consulting, an impact-focused start-up, and the public sector, where she helped conceptualizing the first digital strategy for the German Foreign Ministry.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Rotterdam and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Management of Information Systems at the London School of Economics (LSE).
In her free time, Carla enjoys playing basketball, volunteering in her hometown Berlin and learning new languages.
